School Dinners
School Dinners are currently £2.41 per day. This can be paid weekly, monthly or half termly in advance. You can pay online at www.scopay.com/mickletrafford. Please contact the school office if you need an account setting up.
These charges only apply to children in KS2 as all infants are entitled to a universal free school meal. Please note that even if your child is in the infants and you think you are eligible for free school meals (see the criteria below) please let us know. This is because we will receive additional funding for your child which will enable additional support in the classroom for their learning.
You will need a link code to pay online which we will generate for you. (You can also pay for the majority of trips online using this link.)
We currently use Hutchison's Catering for our school meals. You will need to set up an account with Appetite to be able to pre order school dinners for your child and input any dietary requirements your child has. Please click on the link below if you have not already registered.

It is easiest for us and for the kitchen (ie for ordering the correct quantities of food or any special dietary requirements) if you pre order on your child's behalf.
We cater for all dietary requirements, ie no NUTS, allergies, vegetarian and halal etc.
There is a menu on display outside the kitchen, the office, below and on the online ordering system Apetite but if you have any questions please ask our cook, Katie Macko.

Please do not worry that your child will be made to feel different from any of their peers, at no point will the term free school meals be used with the children and they have no idea who in their class is in receipt of them.
