Year 5 - 19.4.24

This has been a tiring but fun first week back! 

We've had our first swimming lesson of the term. Firstly, our swimming instructor grouped us into two groups. This took a while, but because we listened so well, it meant that we had lots of time to do lots of other things. In the pool, we practised star floats and mushroom floats, glides and we 'walked the plank' on a soft floating mat. We really enjoyed it, but we are all very tired from our busy day. 

We've also had our first lesson about Ancient Greece, where we learnt about the different City States within the country. Some of us learnt about the Greek gods, such as Zeus's punishment of Prometheus! 

Today, we did some active maths, where we had to go over obstacles in order to check our answers.
