Year 4 Friday 9th June

Even though we had a short week, we've managed to pack a lot of learning in! We've started to plan a story in the style of our text 'When the Giant Stirred' and have some lovely ideas for making it our own. In science, we've continued to learn about sound with a VERY noisy science lesson, exploring how to change the pitch of different instruments. It's also been assessment week and the children have started to show us how much they have learned in maths and reading this year. It's been nice for the sun to shine and we have had some lovely field playtimes. Please remember suncream before school, hats and water bottles every day (oh and a waterproof coat in your bag, just in case - we are in England after all!!).
