Year 4 Friday 5th January
Date: 5th Jan 2024 @ 4:22pm
This week, we have focused lots of our work on a beautiful book called The Journey by Francesca Sanna. This has included imagining how the children in the book would feel to have to flee their homes because of war. We have drawn pictures of a character from the book, and added a thought bubble imagining what they might think and how they might feel being forced to leave their home to move to a new country. After talking about how refugees would feel in a new place, on the computers, we researched how to say 'Hello' in different languages to help us welcome refugees that we might meet.
In maths, we have also practised our 6 and 7 times tables and started a new unit on length and perimeter.
Well done children!
