Year 3 - 5.1.24

We have had a busy first week back at school. Our main theme has been around the book The Journey, which talks about a family that leaves their home and becomes refugees. On Thursday the children wrote down a personal positive journey that they have been on and were given the opportunity to share this with the class. On Friday the children learnt more from the story and created a 'hot seat' and quizzed their peers. In maths we been applying the 3 x table to both division and multiplication. Finally, we learnt that the new topic of the term will be The Romans, which the children designed their front cover for their books.
