Year 3 - 3.3.23

We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday. Maisie said that she really enjoyed doing the quiz about different books. Lucas liked the activity where you had to convince people to read your book without telling them the title, author or what it was about was the best part!

Mr Waring has introduced our new class book. It is called Escape from Pompeii. We are all looking forward to hearing about what happened and meeting the characters involved. On Tuesday we started writing our setting description on the front cover. 

Today for Design and Technology we made picture frames. We followed a three-step process, first we designed our work. Then we made the prototype from paper. Finally, we used grey board to construct our photo frames, if you check on Twitter you can see some of them! Eva enjoyed designing a prototype and then getting to actually make it, she thought this was a good process.
