Year 3 - 13.10.23
Date: 12th Oct 2023 @ 2:33pm
This week has been a whirlwind of excitement and learning in Year 3. We delved into the significance of Black History Month, shedding light on the remarkable life of Muhammad Ali. In our math lessons, we've been tackling column addition and subtraction, exploring the intricacies of numbers in the ones, tens, and hundreds places. English class has been a creative journey as we composed heartfelt letters to our beloved grandad. We narrated our exhilarating days at surf school, the misadventures of falling off our boards, and the heartwarming rescue by a friendly seal. With bated breath, we expressed our hopes for his safe return from his fishing expedition. To top it all off, Mrs. Weston paid us our bi-weekly visit, discussing our homework achievements during our Zone of Regulation session. It's been an eventful week, brimming with knowledge, creativity, and heartwarming stories.
On Thursday 19th October, we are holding a harvest celebration in school. Ian Oulton from West Cheshire Food Bank is joining us for the assembly. If you could bring in any donations for the foodbank on Thursday 19th October, they will be gratefully received.
