Year 2 - 9.2.24

The children had a wonderful end to another busy week with a Jazz concert and a music day! I'm sure you've heard all about it. 

The concert was performed by Music 4 Life and it was fantastic! Following the concert, we used iPads to compose music ourselves, did some dancing to jazz music and drew jazz instruments using different mediums. 

Year 2 have had a money-themed week this week! They have been counting in pence, pounds and pence & pounds! Next week, we are experimenting with finding the right amount of money to purchase, and work our what change we will need. 

We are all very excited for our Zoo trip next week. Please can I remind you that children are to wear their normal school uniform, with appropriate footwear (comfy trainers etc). All children will need coats and full water bottles. Please provide your child with a packed lunch from home, or pre-order one via the Hutchisons website.
