Year 2 - 26.1.24

This week has been fun! We started Monday with a drama workshop and a History afternoon, writing about the moon landing as if we were Neil Armstrong!

In maths this week, we have been challenging our brains with column addition and subtraction. Homework this week is continued practice of this new format and how to work through questions.

In literacy this week, we have been drawing maps ans creating journeys. We have been writing commands for Gramps to follow as he drives his campervan though our imaginary worlds!

In art this week, we have learnt about Kandinsky and recreated some of the famous Knadinksy circles. We have used 4 different mediums - pastels, paints, water colours and inks. The children have had the opportunity to think about their favourite way of working.
