IT'S OFFICIALLY DECEMBER...... And we are all very excited in Year 2.

We are all excited and nervous for our Christmas production(s!) next week. Our dress rehearsal will be on Monday, with our shows for parents and grandparents on Tuesday afternoon 3.30 and Wednesday morning 9.30. We can't wait to welcome you in to our school and show off how hard we have worked.

Reminder - children are to come in to school wearing black leggings/ trousers/ shorts & a white tshirt on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for our shows. Children can wear their normal school jumpers on these days. Narrators - please bring in a Christmas jumper! 

This week has been busy. The children had a wonderful art day with Mrs Cox, Miss Read and Mrs Kendrick on Monday. They created some Kandinsky inspired sculptures, drew and painted some still life and mixed autumn colours. We have been researching owls even more and have planned what we are each going to write in our information leaflets. This week, we have also completed some reading and maths assessments. We have all been very proud of how well the children have coped with these. As well as Nativity rehearsals, it has been a very full on week!

Next week, will be our last week of spellings before the Christmas break.
