We have had such a fantastic, but exhausting day.  We started our arts celebration day listening to live music from a Jazz Band.  Music4life had arranged the session and the children loved joining in whilst learning more about the instruments.

We continued the day composing on the iPad, with art work and a little jazz dancing with Mr Gough.

The children have worked exceptionally hard this week as we worked our way to the end of our shape unit.  We have completed work on number lines and made our promises regarding how to care for our world.

In our grammar lesson, we have been looking a vowels and how to use an or a appropriately.  Miss Montgomery popped into our Thursday session and was delighted to see the children moving forward in their learning and independence. 

Homework this week is based on individual letter formation.  Please look in their books to see which letters your child needs support writing.

Looking forward to next week, we have our lovely Chester Zoo trip on Wednesday (please see the previous letter for all details) and our pebble pot treat day on Friday.  I will send out further details regarding Friday when I have talked to the children about what they would like.  Today was a little overwhelming to think about another treat!
