Year 1 10.11.23

This week has been the best week because we got to start practicing for our Christmas Nativity! We learned dances as Cowboys and Cowgirls, as well as horses and cows! We did our first run through and all the teachers were very impressed with Year 1 for sitting beautifully wiating for their turn!

In maths, we explored all the bonds to 10 using Numicon and wrote addition number sentences! 

For history, we started our unit about monarchs and leaders. We enjoyed looking at the coronation regalia and writing what they meant for a king or queen. We learnt about the line of succession and who our future monarchs are!

We learnt about Rememberance and used a stapler to make our own poppies!
