We're well and truly in the countdown to Christmas now!
Our rehersals for the nativity with Reception are coming together with Y6 having to be 'mini-teachers' for their buddies. On Monday, we practised with the stage for the first time and were very helpful and considerate to our younger co-stars!
We have continued our investigation into tiger conservation in English by writing a description of a tiger that could frighten Miss Poland! We focused on creating our own questions about extinction and utilising modal verbs in our writing. Maths has seen us venture into the realm of fractions with Y6 both simplifying and ordering a range of different fractions. Our understanding of factors and multiples came in very helpful here!
Our topic books are still stunning members of the team at MTVS! We added the finishing touches to our remembrance pages and the poems that we wrote last week. The children's work regarding Christianity in RE continued with a study into how worship can be different but also very similar for many different groups.
Mr Gough has been very cruel in PE (Luckily for us, his music wouldn't work!) by continuing to focus on fitness, with this week's session being an aerobic circuit workout!
Finally, some members of our class represented MTVS at both football and hockey tournaments this week. We are all very proud of their hard work and great attitude.
